Description
The challenge of this project was the combination of technical parts with a restoration. Part of the steering wheel was first scanned. This scan served as a basis for reverse engineering. The steering wheel's metal suspension was then also scanned enabling the subsequent CNC milling to be precisely matched to the frame. The individual components were then assembled using dowels and varnished.
